Michele Holzman, RN
Michele has worked for 10 years in ICU, and for the past 25 years as a Nationally Certified Inpatient OB Nurse with a subspecialty in Electronic Fetal Monitoring . She is currently still practicing in a Level III High-Risk Labor and Delivery setting, with cross-training for the OB Operating Room, Recovery Room and Triage.
In 2008 she worked for a year as an in-house Legal Nurse for a defense toxicology company, followed by a year as a full-time consultant in a busy plaintiff medical malpractice firm.
As an active member of the nursing associations listed below, Michele continues to uphold the high level of quality professionalism in her work product.
Throughout her career, Michele has provided education in Spanish for healthcare professionals, and has also taught labor support/childbirth classes to many patients and families in her community. She has written manuals to assist Hispanic women in communicating through childbirth, now pending publication.
In conjunction with her legal nursing, she is also working as a Risk Manager doing hospital assessments throughout the country, and on a consultant basis for Puerto Rico.
